About Steve Yastrow

Steve YastrowSteve Yastrow is a non-stop idea generator, business advisor and best-selling sales author.  When he’s not creating new ideas for his books and other writings, he’s thinking about how to apply his ideas to his clients’ businesses.

In 1997 Steve opted-out of a career as a senior marketing executive in the hospitality industry to form Yastrow and Company. Yastrow and Company has enabled Steve to help organizations of all types improve their results through his breakthrough marketing, customer relationship and sales ideas.

Danielle Zaft

Danielle Zaft

After spending 10 years in sales management and training, Danielle joined the Yastrow and Company team in 2015. She is Steve’s “right-hand” when it comes to Yastrow and Company’s consulting engagements.

Danielle plays a key role in all of Yastrow and Company’s consulting work, with a specialty in developing effective sales teams, employee-culture training programs and brand strategy development. As an accomplished sales professional, with special talents in both public speaking and running workshops, Yastrow and Company clients (and Steve) frequently look to Danielle as their strategic partner and main contact at our firm.

Amanda Cullen

After helping Steve edit both Brand Harmony and We: The Ideal Customer Relationship, as a freelancer, Amanda joined the Yastrow and Company team in 2007.

Amanda plays a key role in all of Yastrow and Company’s consulting engagements, with a specialty in conducting market research and applying the results of that research to brand strategy development. As an accomplished marketing professional, with special talents as a graphic artist and writer, Yastrow and Company clients (and Steve) frequently look to Amanda for advice on creating effective marketing communications.

Diana Lackner

Diana LacknerDiana has worked with Yastrow and Company for 18 years. Her keen strategic, financial, and business insights have been pivotal in the development of Yastrow and Company strategies with clients in consumer goods, financial services, and health care.

Diana has an MBA from the University of Chicago and brings years of experience from her time with GD Searle, Citigroup, and bioStrategies, a health care consulting firm.

Tina Curran

Tina Curran

Tina has spent her career in advertising and marketing.  She has deep experience in the television industry as well as experience in the fast food, airline, financial and CPG industries from her years spent at a major advertising agency.  She joined Yastrow and Company in 2014 and has been instrumental in market research and brand strategy development for our clients.

 

Brian Kovach

Brian is working with us again after being hired to run marketing by a Yastrow and Company client in the middle of a project and a stint running a business owned by another client.  Brian brings the experience of running his own marketing and design business to Yastrow and Company projects.  This experience adds graphic design, media production and database marketing expertise to a history of marketing to many verticals.  Brian is also  a process and touchpoint mapping expert – he actually enjoys flowcharts.
 

Arna Yastrow

Arna YastrowArna has spent the last 22 years of her career in education, educational leadership, and curriculum development.  She has experience in developing and implementing mentoring programs, for both schools and business.  Arna began working full-time for Yastrow and Company in 2016 and has worked on market research, developing mentoring programs for on-boarding new employees, and creating professional development curriculum for our clients.
