Thanks, Steve, for your mindful video. I am sometimes guilty of jumping from one moment to the next, though I tend to be fully engaged from moment to moment. I wonder how much better I could actually become if I did exactly what you suggest here. Hnmm? I’m gonna be more mindful of this. Thanks again for doing the video and thinking enough of us to post it. Enjoy your vacation!

Right now it’s 3:16AM at home in Chicago, and I’m embarking on a day of fun in Tel Aviv with friends. Another way to enjoy myself while everyone at home is sleeping! (I’ll be all refreshed for my business calls to the states later in the day)

A few questions:

*Is divesting completely while on vacation ever a real possibility?

About Steve Yastrow and Yastrow & Company

In addition to writing, I spend most of my work time helping companies unleash their potential by creating better connections with their customers. This happens through my speaking events and through Yastrow & Company consulting engagements, where my team and I help companies figure out who they intend to be in the future, and then engage the entire company in creating that future through strong "We" customer relationships.

Before starting Yastrow & Company in the mid-90s I was vice-president of resort marketing for Hyatt Hotels. My experiences in the hotel business showed me clearly that most marketing doesn’t happen in the marketing department. Customers are paying attention to all interactions with a company, not just the promises made in traditional "marketing communications."
